Along with ski sailing, you
can learn and experience through courses such as:
Building a snow cave
Starting a fire without matches
Winter travel
Operate and understand a GPS, map and compass
Learn snowshoeing as well as many other wilderness skills and crafts all available while spending time surrounded by nature. As in the summer season, we offer a Wilderness Skills Course teaching necessary skills for enjoyment of the wilderness as well as emergency survival. For a listing of the courses we offer, see HiLine Courses.
Exciting things this winter are ski sailing and snow caving! Yes, you can build and sleep very comfortably in a snow cave or other winter shelter. Become a member of the "100 Below Zero Club". We will record the lowest temperature you stay in and add it to your log book.
