Bush Plane Travel... A Flightseeing Tour
HiLine Lake Wilderness Camp is
as much fun getting to as the stay out here. You'll be flown out to HiLine
Lake in a Bush floatplane/ski-plane enabling you to view the Alaskan wilderness along the route. The flight time to
HiLine Lake from Anchorage is about 35 minutes. You'll see the Mat-Su Valley, Mt. Susitna (Sleeping Lady),
Beluga Mtn. as well as the Talachulitna River area. It's not uncommon to see bears
or moose below during the flight. On a clear day you'll see Denali
rising up to 20,320 feet.
When making your travel plans you may wish to spend the night
before coming to HiLine Lake in Anchorage, especially if you are coming from
outside the area.
Also,
you may want to book a room for the day you
return to Anchorage prior to continuing on to your final
destination (most local hotels will store your luggage and extra gear
until you return from HiLine Lake). We will gladly make all of your travel arrangements, just contact us.
