Year Round Residents Host Your Stay...

Your hosts at HiLine Lake Wilderness Camp are Jim and Cindy Oliver. Along with Jessie, Cody and Younger they form the resident family living year round at the camp relaying the experience they live daily for you and your group during your stay in the Alaskan Bush.

A note from Jim Oliver
"Starting from scratch in 1998, we began creating this camp after landing on the Southeast shore by floatplane. Most of the structures we've built are from our own timber using our extensive knowledge of log and cabin building. As a family living in the Bush, we experience the wonders of nature and enjoy her pleasures as well as deal with her constraints on a daily bases. Learning is a constant in the Bush when you are over 65 miles from town and the experinces and knowledge we'll pass on, along with the crafts and skills you'll learn, will provide memories to share long after your trip is over. Sharing, well that's what we are all about. Sharing the experience of Alaska's pristine wilderness. A simple walk down the path, a quiet canoe ride, listening to the loons call in an early morning calm as well as many other sights, sounds and smells will fill your thoughts for years to come. Your days will be filled with activities and nights with the peace and quiet of the Bush, all in the comfort of our camp. So, come and let us provide the memories you and your family and friends will talk about time and time again."
